Recently, the sun has been shining and the temperatures have
been rising, and this can only mean one thing… COCKTAILS!! On one of these hot
and sunny days, me and my friend decided to take a walk into Putney to find a
pair of shoes for her. However, this resulted in us going to The Toy Shop. For
those of you who aren’t too sure as to what this is, no it’s not actually a toy
shop, it’s a bar in Putney that does crazy cocktails surrounding the theme of
sweets and all things fun.
Although this was an unexpected visit, we definitely went on
the right day, Thursday: 2-4-1 cocktails all night. Now, is that fate or what!
The first drink me and my friend decided to try was the ‘Zombie’.
On the menu it only allows you to have two of these per person, and reading
that, it led me and my friend to believe that it was going to be some intense
drink that would get us smashed after one taste (slight exaggeration). Did we
feel drunk after this? Nope. But despite that, it tasted amazing, it was
honestly just like drinking fruit juice.
The second drink we had was called Moopy’s Milk Bottle, and
this was also really good. But it’s slightly harder to describe what it tasted
like… As gross as this may sound, it kind of tasted like a raspberry flavoured
milk, but watered down. Gross I know, but it tasted better than it sounds, plus
the fact that I’m not the best at describing things, lol.
Although these were the only drinks we had, and after being
chatted up by a very drunken older man, I would 100% go back to The Toy Shop,
and I would definitely recommend it!
